SUNLIGHT World Premiere at Dublin International Film Festival


On Thursday 25 February, the world premiere of SUNLIGHT took place at Dublin International Film Festival, in the Lighthouse Cinema, with director Claire Dix, writer Ailbhe Keogan, producer Roisin Geraghty and cast Barry Ward and Liam Carney in attendance.

SUNLIGHT was funded by Screen Ireland through the POV Production & Training Scheme for Female Creative Talent, and while it may have been a long journey to get to this point with delays from the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a wonderful evening to celebrate the launch of Claire Dix’s debut fiction feature film as well as our hardworking cast and crew on this micro budget feature including director of photography Narayan van Maele, production designer Lauren Kelly, line producer Juliane Wothe, production manager Maggie Ryan, sound recordist Greg Burrowes, casting director Amy Rowan and cast including Lydia McGuinness, Tony Doyle to name a few.

SUNLIGHT will be released in Irish and UK cinemas in June 2023, by Wildcard Distribution.
