VICTORIAN PSYCHO Premieres in Cannes


Keeper Pictures is thrilled to announce that VICTORIAN PSYCHO, the feature film from Zachary Wigon, will have its world premiere at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. The horror-thriller will be presented in the Un Certain Regard section of the competition, joining a selection of auteur-driven films with unconventional styles and non-traditional narratives. The international Festival de Cannes is one of the world's most widely publicized events, striving to draw attention to and raise the profile of films, with the aim of contributing towards the development of cinema, boosting the film industry worldwide and celebrating cinema at an international level. The festival will run from the 12th to 23rd May, 2026.

Directed by Zachary Wigon, VICTORIAN PSYCHO is produced by Anton, with producers Dan Kagan, Sébastien Raybaud, Zachary Wigon, Liz Siegal, and Nick Shumaker attached. Written by Virginia Feito, the film is supported by UK, Ireland, and international partners, including: Anton, Traffic, and Anonymous Content.

 

Starring Maika Monroe (LONGLEGS), Jason Isaacs (THE DEATH OF STALIN), Ruth Wilson (LUTHER), Thomasin McKenzie (JOJO RABBIT), Jacobi Jupe (HAMNET), VICTORIAN PSYCHO follows an eccentric young governess, Winifred Notty, who arrives at the remote gothic manor Ensor House in 1858. As Winifred assimilates, staff begin to inexplicably disappear, and the owners wonder if something is amiss about this new governess.
